We have personally tried all these places, took families over there, recommended it to our friends, and now we want to share it with you. We made a selection of the best restaurants in and around Dubrovnik City area divided into 12 categories.

ROZATA CAKE
Being a dessert halfway between creme brulee and flan, Rozata is a traditional medieval dessert originally from Dubrovnik.
OCTOPUS SALAD
Cooked octopus seasoned with olive oil, capers, tomatoes, onion and vinegar with few simple spices is was makes this summer salad a perfect appetiser.
ŠPORKI MARAKULI
“Dirty macaroni” - referring to the practice of serving the dish – when the meat was eaten, the last guests were served a plate of pasta drizzled over with the leftover meat sauce.
PEKA
Can you imagine meat and vegetables, all seasoned and ready to be baked, not in the oven but under the hot, iron bell.
OYSTERS FROM STON BAY
Oysters from this region are amongst the best in the world, since here you can eat them straight from the sea thanks to the purity and top qu of the sea in the Adriatic.
Black risotto
A unique dish powerful in its color, while its taste is incredibely gentle. Made out of squid ink with pieces of squids, mussels and ocassionally local fish.
WAGYU
This 100% Australian grain-fed beef rump steak with Japanese Wagyu genetics is a delicacy you should if you love a good meat cut.
PROSCIUTTO
U Croatian smoked ham is much different than the one in Italy or Spain, since it’s being dried on a wind during a certain time of the year only.
